Client management

A Souffle client record goes well beyond contact details. It holds the people, the money, the structures, the paperwork and the advice relationship, so the whole practice works from the same picture.

How client management works in Souffle

The people on the record

Title, name and preferred name, gender, date of birth and marital status, alongside home, mobile, business and work numbers and a preferred method of contact. Partner details and family members sit on the same record, with addresses, employment status and type, occupation status and residential status.

The advice relationship

Each client carries the initial advice date and type of advice, review frequency, the next review, a history of previous reviews, and the date the last SoA or RoA was provided. Adviser service fees are recorded as a flat amount or a percentage of assets, alongside services promised versus services delivered, and legacy fee disclosure statement and opt-in date fields.

Identification and verification

Identification records hold document type, number and issuer, place of issue, issue and expiry dates, the verification method used and whether the member is verified. Tax identification number, US residency status and accredited English translations are captured where relevant, with attachments against the record.

Notes, files and history

File notes, comments and client documents attach to the client, alongside a client file store, questionnaire history with both adviser and client comments, linked entities, and payment history. Adviser strength scoring tracks which advice areas have been covered — cashflow, superannuation, investment, protection, retirement planning, debt strategies and estate planning — and whether a referral has come from the client.
