Tasks and workflow

Assign work across the practice and see it through on kanban boards, with the recurring pieces set up once rather than re-entered.

How tasks and workflow works in Souffle

Tasks

Tasks carry a title and description, assignees, a priority and a status of open, in progress or completed. Due dates, completion date and who completed it are recorded, along with reminders, recurrence rules, subtasks and time logged. A task can be assigned to a client, and marked as one the client, the individual or the partner must complete.

Finding the work

Tasks can be filtered by assignee, by client, by status, by priority or by id, and the full list of task assignees can be retrieved for the practice — so it is possible to answer both what is outstanding and who is carrying it.

Kanban workflow boards

Boards hold lists and cards, with checklists and members on each card and archiving for both cards and lists. Boards are driven from reusable workflow templates, so a repeated process is set up once and run for every client.

Notifications

Team members can configure task notification preferences. Confirm the available delivery options for your practice during setup.

Reporting on effort

Because tasks carry time logged and team members carry hourly and cost rates, a time report can be produced across both tasks and workflows.
