Financial position and fact find

Assets, income, expenses, liabilities, goals and objectives, and protection policies — each with its own dashboard and printable report, so the review pack is built before you walk into the meeting.

How financial position and fact find works in Souffle

Six views of the same picture

Assets, income, expenses, liabilities, goals and objectives, and protection each have a dedicated dashboard and a matching report. Expenses additionally offer a simplified view for clients who do not want line-by-line detail. A consolidated financial dashboard pulls the whole position together for one client.

Totals that roll up

A financial position carries a position date and name, along with total asset value, total asset value under adviser, total liability value, total gross and net income, and total expense value. The number of strategies and the policy year utilised are recorded against the position.

Goals and objectives

Goals hold an amount, category, description and intended outcome, with an owner, priority, timeframe and timeframe date, duration, and progress tracked as both a value and a percentage. Goals can be nested under a parent goal, and carry notes and a feedback score.

Protection and insurance

Protection policies record cover types, provider, policy number, premium amount, frequency and type, package discounts, policy start date and ownership across the individual, partner or entity. Adviser remuneration is captured as upfront commission, ongoing or level commission, or fee for service.
